Fola Daniel is an accomplished insurance practitioner with over 40 years of top leadership records in Nigerian and African continental institutions. He Began insurance career in Great Nigeria Insurance Company Ltd rising to the Area Manager. A pioneer Management staff of Globe Reinsurance Plc, where he rose to the position of Head of the Technical Operations. From this position, he was appointed by Nigerian Government in 1994 as the Managing Director, Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC).

He transformed the then moribund government corporation into a profit making and self-sustaining entity. After a stint in NAIC In the year 2004, he went back to Globe Reinsurance Plc, as Managing Director/CEO.

In 2007, Nigeria Government still found him worthy to be appointed to reposition the Nigerian Insurance Industry as a Commissioner for Insurance, National Insurance Commission (NAICOM). He completed a successful two-term tenure in 2015.

Mr. Daniel had his education in Nigeria and United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of Chartered Insurance Institute, London (FCII) and Fellow of the British Institute of Management (FBIM) among several others. He is a recipient of the AIO Hall of Fame.

He joined with other professionals to establish FBS Reinsurance Ltd, where he is currently the MD/CEO.
