Sharon Mackay Sikhosana joined Prudential Authority within the South African Reserve Bank in 2019, where she works as a Divisional Head responsible for insurance supervision.

She has worked in the financial services industry for nearly 20 years where she held senior and executive positions in the insurance sector.

Sharon also managed her own insurance brokerage and consultancy for nearly 7 years.

Sharon currently serves as the Regional Co-ordinator for Sub-Saharan Africa of the Access to Insurance Initiative (A2ii).

She holds a BA (Law) degree (UCT), B. Proc degree (UNISA), Master’s Degree in Business Leadership (UNISA), Management Advancement Programme (Wits) qualification, and Advanced Management and Leadership Programme qualification (Oxford).
